mnemonic is a tool to help remember facts or a large amount of information. It can be a song, rhyme, acronym, image, or a phrase to help remember a list of facts in a certain order.

  • ROY G. BIV for the spectrum colors
(Red, Orange, Yellow, Green, Blue, Indigo, Violet)
  • RICE for the instructions for treating a sprain
(Rest the injured area, Ice the sprain, Compress with a wrap or bandage, Elevate the injured area)
  • FANBOYS for the seven coordinating conjunctions
(For, And, Nor, But, Or, Yet, So)

  • The order of taxonomy:

(Kingdom, Phylum, Class, Order, Family, Genus, Species)

  • Order of Planets:

(Mercury, Venus, Earth, Mars, Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, Neptune, and Pluto)

(Scaphoid, Lunate, Triquetral, Pisiform, Trapezium, Trapezoid, Capitate, Hamate)

Left gastric artery, hepatic artery, splenic artery

Contents of foramen magnum:
